What we're about
Come see us in Mission Viejo. The mission of the Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn fosters self-confidence and personal growth.
Each week members are asked to take a role in conducting the meeting. Roles include speaker, evaluator, ah counter, grammarian, Table Topics Master, General Evaluator and Toastmaster to name a few.
Speakers prepare, practice and give short speeches as directed by Toastmaster International's Competent Communicator, Competent Leadership or Advanced Leadership guidelines. Speeches are generally 5 - 7 minutes long, and members all have a role in listening to, critiquing, and offering words of encouragement to fellow members as they work toward to goal of improving their public speaking. We have a min order of ordering a coffee or a drink which covers our room fee, most order a breakfast.
New members are welcome. We encourage you to visit our club, learn more about Toastmasters and join us each Monday morning at 7:00 a.m.
