HANDS-ON WORKSHOP

  • 3-Hour hands-on workshop in 2-parts
  • Bring your favourite cutlery & pocket knives to work on - maybe even a junk knife or two for practice
  • Build out your own sharpening kit! Roger will be providing a detailed shopping & vendor list in both an extremely inexpensive and a moderately priced version. This list of includes his own tried-and-tested favorite stones, drawing on many years' experience
  • Roger will also tell you where to obtain both quality kitchen knives and pocket knives, really really cheaply - so that you have something to work on.
  • Pre-Requisite: attend the free public lecture & demo ahead of time
  • Follow up Training: monthly "salons" where you can ask questions and hone your skills
  • Lunch: we will all go out to eat together and talk about the Riddle of Steel, after the class.
  • I will be offering 1-2 seats on a scholarship basis. You will help setup in exchange for a greatly reduced cost.
  • This is a 2-day workshop, you must attend both to complete the training!!
  • I will be offering a both a group (family+friends) and a public service officer (miltary, fire, police) discount - inquire for deets.
