About us
# Shattered Glass Collective and Friends
We're a group of people who love making mosaic art together. Whether you've been doing this for years or you're picking up tesserae for the first time, there's a place for you here. We get together regularly to work on our own projects while enjoying the company of other mosaic enthusiasts. You'll find everything from traditional tile work to experimental pieces using found materials, broken china, and glass.
Our sessions are pretty relaxed. We set up our workspaces, put on some music, and just create. It's a good excuse to get your hands dirty, focus on something creative, and not think about the rest of the world for a while. People often work on individual pieces, but we're always happy to help each other problem-solve, share techniques, or just talk through ideas. Some folks bring their own projects while others are happy to start something new.
No experience necessary. If you're curious about mosaic work or just want to be around other creative people doing their thing, come by and see what it's about. We're informal and genuinely welcoming to anyone interested in joining us.
