Come Hike Bonticou Crag and Table Rocks/Enjoy Live Music at Magnanini Winery

Dan and I thought we'd post a fan favorite Bonticou Crag and Table Rocks in beautiful Mohonk Preserve. This hike offers a kick butt rock scramble, gorgeous views, cliffs walks, and beautiful scenic trails. For those of you who prefer not to scramble, Dan will taking some peeps up an alternate trail that offers the same beautiful views. I will lead the scrambling part. Both groups will meet up top, enjoy the stunning views and go from there to Table Rocks for some additional fun. There is a $15 per person day hiking fee or you can purchase a pass that is good for a year at the parking lot.

For those who are interested, after the hike we will drive about 25 minutes to Magnanini Winery. They are known for their delicious food and wine selection. On Sunday they offer brunch and have live music. They do not allow outside food. Please look at website for directions and for answers to any additional questions you might have.

We will be hiking at a moderate pace. Our main goal is for us to have FUN, LAUGH and enjoy a sense of camaraderie. We stay together as a group. We take breaks as needed. We take time to enjoy heavenly views. We will have a sweep to ensure everyone’s safety. BE SURE TO BRING PLENTY OF WATER, wear hiking boots with good tread and wear appropriate clothing. Hiking times are an approximation and depends on the makeup of the hiking group. IF YOU HAVE A NEED FOR SPEED THIS IS NOT THE HIKE FOR YOU!
