Well Santa Barbara here we come!! 🚌🍷🍷🥰I will be co-hosting this event with our very own member Angela Cottrell. I ask that each of you give her your unwavering support.
Many of you expressed an interest in traveling here for wine tasting. We will also being having lunch on the Pier!!
We will be traveling via Amtrak to Union Station which is located downtown LA. This trip will take place on Saturday, Sept 23rd Early AM. You are welcome to invite a friend or two.🥰 Please include them in your overall count when RSVPing. This trip will require a $10 event fee per person.
TRIP TRAVEL SUMMARY:
Depart LA Union Station @ 9:13am on the Pacific Surfliner #765 / Arrive in Santa Barbara @ 11:50am. Depart from Santa Barbara @ 6:50pm / Arrive LA Union Station @ 9:46pm. Please be sure to purchase (business class).
Please purchase your tickets via: Amtrak.com. Again, your travel cost is only $46 each way for a total of $92. Each member will be responsible for purchasing their own ticket. Our Meetup location will be Union Station at 9am.
Again, lunch will be on the Pier. We will already be in close proximity after arriving into Santa Barbara which is a quarter mile from the Amtrak station. Our Social hour / Lunch will be @ Wharf Restaurant located at 217 Sterns Wharf, Santa Barbara, Ca 93101.
This location has great reviews, an amazing view of the Pier, shops for souveniers, and I hear the food is delicious!
Our very 1st STOP for Tasting, happen to be right next door to the restaurant - "Conway Family Wines,” bka the “Deep Sea Tasting Room. They are open from 11am - 8pm for wine tasting on a first come first-serve basis. Reservations are not required, however I here they do fill-up fast!🥰They are pretty well known - “The Deep Sea Tasting Room,” located @ 217G Sterns Wharf, Santa Barbara, Ca 93101. This is a family-owned business and has been around for quite a few years.
Our 2nd STOP - La Lieff Wines this is a 5-Star Lounge located at 210 Gray Ave. Santa Barbara, Ca 93101.
Our 3rd & Final STOP - The popular Santa Barbara Winery located @ 28 Anacapa St. Santa Barbara, Ca 93101.
