Braver Angels is leading the nation’s largest cross-partisan, volunteer-led movement to change our politics for the better. Through community gatherings, real debates, and grassroots leaders working together, we’re offering America what it needs to overcome the bitterness of our partisan divide.

As an award-winning journalist, Melinda Voss has earned national recognition for her work in health care journalism. In 1997, Melinda co-founded the Association of Health Care Journalists, Inc., an organization with more than 750 members who cover health and health care in multiple countries. She also served as the executive director from 1999 to 2004. Additionally, from 2002 to 2004, Melinda helped develop and coordinate the Health Journalism Master’s Program at the University of Minnesota, a yearlong program for public health professionals learning about journalism or, conversely, journalists learning about public health.

She Talks Data is a program funded and operated by the Moxy Foundation that brings together women in the Twin Cities area who work with data.

We seek to create a comfortable and supportive environment that encourages authentic dialogue and meaningful connections through small-group gatherings. Our goal is to build a close-knit community of women who can come together to grow professionally and personally.
