Walker Ranch Park Walking Group

Interested in getting out to some of our local parks but don't want to walk alone? Come join the Shearer Hills Walking Group as we try out a new park each month.

This month, we're going to visit Walker Ranch Park again since last time we took the wrong trail and never got the chance to actually see this park. We had a great time visiting and walking along Wurzbach Parkway though. We will pray the Lord continues to bless us with a little cooler weather to enjoy. The pace and route will be decided by the participants present and we may stop a few times if there is something nature-related that's interesting to point out. Feel free to join in for as long as your schedule allows. The entire walk will last roughly 1-2 hours, depending on our route and pace. Lastly, if you have a park you would like us to visit in the future, feel free to send me the information.

Parking caused some confusion last time, since unbeknownst to me there are two separate parking lots. Therefore, let's meet at the front of the children's playground. That way if the little parking lot is full, you can park around the corner in the Walker Ranch Senior Center parking lot and just take the trail to the playground. We will leave promptly at 3:30pm.
