Full description
A walk around the Lovely Langsett reservoir. Through woodlands, and up to the Moorlands where we will pass the North American ruins. The walk should only take a couple of hours, and the plan is to stop at the Waggon and Horses pub at the end for a drink/lunch. Dogs welcome.
NB: This walk will be weather dependent, and thus may be cancelled and rearranged at short notice. If you sign up please check Meetup messages nearer the time.
Public transport or car sharing options
No public transport for this walk unfortunately. Parking at the Langsett Barn car park. Only a small car park, so if no spaces there is a layby around 200m further up. The leader is happy to pick up from the Northern general hospital.
