Full description:
Beginning with an easy walk along the river Ashop, we then begin the ascent to Win Hill. On the way we pass the Hope Cross, hopefully providing good views across the Hope valley. From Win Hill we descend to Yorkshire Bridge, then follow Bamford Edge into Bamford.

Public transport or car sharing options:
Catch the 257 bus at 09:55 from Sheffield Interchange.
Return hourly 272 or rail replacement bus from Bamford.
I’m aware the 257 is very unreliable, I will be boarding at the interchange and will post an update on Meetup if the bus doesn't run.

Be prepared:
Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year, with plenty of warm clothes and waterproofs, as well as food and water. Further information on what to bring an be found on our website here: https://www.sheffieldwalkinggroup.org.uk/be-prepared
