Full description:
We start at Glen Howe car park and walk through Ewden woodlands, along More Hall and Broomhead Reservoirs. Then it’s up towards Bolsterstone where we will walk along the top of Wharncliffe Side for views of Ewden Valley. Finally it’s mostly downhill, as we return to the opposite side of More Hall Reservoir and back to Glen Howe. We can stop for a drink at the end in the Blue Ball if there is interest.

Public transport or car sharing options:
Public Transport: Catch the 9.40am tram from the Cathedral to Middlewood then connect onto a bus to Wharncliffe Side. Get off at Wharncliffe Arms and follow signs to Glen Howe Park. Please type in Damasel Lane S35 0DW if using GPS.

Parking: If you are driving there is free parking in Glen Howe car park. Please type in Damasel Lane S35 0DW on your GPS / Sat Nav.

Be prepared:
Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year. A waterproof is always advised, as well as plenty of food and water. Please bring sun protection if required (sun hat, sunglasses, sun cream etc). Sign-up for this walk opens 5 days before the event. If you sign up and can no longer make it, please be respectful of others and remove yourself from the event so that others can take your place. We request you do this ***NO LATER THAN 6pm*** the night before the walk.
