Full description: Starting from Chinley, we will walk on the trial onto Cracker Edge and then continuing up and around the quarry before continuing on the trials back to Chinley. Potential pub or café stop at the end.
Public transport or car sharing options: Catch the 10:17 train to Chinley (please check train times before setting off). There is a car park at Chinley station and places to park near the station. If driving please try and lift share by putting a message on the meetup chat or Facebook. Return trains go back once an hour.
Be prepared:
Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year. A waterproof is always advised, as well as plenty of food and water. Please bring sun protection if required (sun hat, sunglasses, sun cream etc). Sign-up for this walk opens 5 days before the event. If you sign up and can no longer make it, please be respectful of others and remove yourself from the event so that others can take your place. We request you do this ***NO LATER THAN 6pm*** the night before the walk.
