Full description:
Starting from the visitors centre, we'll walk via Ashford in the Water to Monsal Head where we'll get great views of the Monsal Viaduct. We will then continue through Monsal Dale and Deep Dale up to the disused Magpie Lead Mine.
Finally, we'll go through Over Haddon village and head back to Bakewell for the pub!

PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
Catch the 08:30 218 bus from Sheffield Interchange to arrive at Bakewell for 09:37.
Returning buses are around every half the hour before 17:55, then hourly after 17:55.
PARKING:
Plenty of car parking around Bakewell town centre, most are pay and display.
Be prepared:
Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year. A waterproof is always advised, as well as plenty of food and water. Please bring sun protection if required (sun hat, sunglasses, sun cream etc). Sign-up for this walk opens 5 days before the event. If you sign up and can no longer make it, please be respectful of others and remove yourself from the event so that others can take your place. We request you do this ***NO LATER THAN 6pm*** the night before the walk.
