Full description:
Starting from the Visitor Centre, we'll walk by the River Wye via Ashford in the Water, White Lodge up to Monsal Viaduct. Then we'll cross the viaduct, through Monsal Tunnel, along the trail to stop for a cup of tea and cake stop at Hassop Station cafe, then finish at Bakewell.
Public transport or car sharing options:
Catch 218 bus departing from Sheffield at 8:40 to arrive in Bakewell at 9:40. Returning buses every 45 minutes past the hour from Bakewell. Car parking in Bakewell Town centre, most car parks pay and display. Please arrange car shares via the comments on this Meetup event.
Be prepared:

Sign-up for this walk opens 5 days before the event. If you sign up and can no longer make it, please be respectful of others and remove yourself from the event so that others can take your place. We request you do this ***NO LATER THAN 6pm*** the night before the walk.

Sheffield 20’s and 30’s Walking Group is part of the Ramblers, a registered charity. All of our leaders are volunteers.
