We will meet at the Summer House Sheffield, possibly earlier for a lunch or drinks, then we will depart at 1pm. We ascend at Beauchief, meet the deers at Ladies Spring Wood, then cross through Chancet Wood and Graves Park. Exiting the park, we walk along Hemsworth Road and have a break at The Water Tower Pub. Crossing Lees Hall Wood we arrive at Heeley and walking its street we arrive at The Sheaf View which has a nice garden to rest. The end time includes some time in the pub.
Public transport or car sharing options:
There's a train from Sheffield station at 12:14, heading Manchester, its first stop is Dore & Totley. Otherwise, buses 97 and 98 come in this direction. From The Sheaf View there's a bus stop at a 2-minute walk away, where there are buses towards the centre and Woodseats/Norton.
With a car you can park at The Sheaf View, it's a short walk to get to Abbeydale Road where you can get a bus 97 or 98 to get to the starting point.
