Full description:
This walk is tribute to the vernal equinox on Mar 20. This is a circular walk visiting 2 stone circles Nine Ladies and Nine Stones Close.
Starting in Bakewell head south to Alport, a bit west along a potentially muddy path by the river before up to Harthill moor. Then (access permitting) we visit the 4 standing stones at Nine stone close before heading to robin hoods stride for lunch. Then East via Birchover to Stanton moor and Nine lady's stone circle. Then drop down to Stanton and back to Bakewell.
This walk is also tribute to Miranda's evening solstice walk.

And the peculiar thing is this, my friends:
The walk we walked on that fateful night: it didn't actually sound anything like this walk.

Please note this will be a muddy or boggy walk (requiring sturdy walking boots).
