Full description:
To mark Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust's 'Living Waters' campaign (https://www.wildsheffield.com/campaign/living-waters), which aims to improve the health of our rivers and wetlands; we'll be following one of Sheffield's green corridors between two of the Trust's urban nature reserves.

From Woodhouse train station we'll walk through Woodhouse Washlands Nature Reserve, where last year 215 harvest mouse nests were recorded! We'll hear lapwing and skylark and maybe even glimpse the blue flash of a kingfisher.
We'll then head through Shire Brook Nature Reserve, where recent funding has created new habitats and a sculpture trail; if it's sunny we'll spot butterflies and dragonflies.
We'll continue along the Trans Pennine Way, briefly entering another Sheffield & Rotherham Wildlife Trust Nature Reserve, Carbrook Ravine, heading through Manor Park and then Norfolk Park, maybe stopping at the Cafe for cake. Then heading into Sheffield we'll finish at Sunnybank Nature Reserve, the Trust's very first reserve. Maybe we'll have a quick look to see if there are any frogs in the pond!

The Beer Engine will be the optional final stop.
