Full description:
A short walk through Treeton will take us out to Treeton Wood, then we'll walk along part of Treeton Dyke, stopping for tea when the view's nice. From there, it's south to Sheffield Road as we cross the bridge over the railway tracks, and then we'll follow the River Rother to Waverley Lakes, featuring Goose Island. We'll go around the lakes and then cross the river back to Treeton.

Additional info: The leader has looked on StreetView and it looks like there's pavements along the roads you will be using.

Public transport or car sharing options:
The 95 bus goes from Arundel Gate to Treeton. Alternatively, please arrange car sharing in the comments.

Be prepared:
Please remember to dress appropriately for the time of year, with enough layers, sun protection if required, a waterproof, and food and water. Further information on what to bring can be found on our website here: https://www.sheffieldwalkinggroup.org.uk/be-prepared
