What we're about

This group is for those interested in the Internet of Things!

Our aims are to:

- Create a vibrant group around IoT and cybersecurity that enables individuals and organisations to share their capability and stimulate discussion and collaboration (sales-type pitches are discouraged).
- Enable real-world IoT applications, through facilitating technology research/development and commercial progress.
- Help position Sheffield as a leading IoT centre and lay the groundwork for larger events/activities that reinforce this reputation.

Upcoming event - 2nd Oct

We're hosting an evening of short talks, covering as many general concepts as an introduction to the IOT for Sheffield. We currently have two speakers who focus on security - we would love two or three more covering protocols, library integration or general development. As long as it involves the IOT, we're happy!

Please get in touch with us to discuss!
