Buzzing in Bakewell

The main spine of the day will be visits to half a dozen historical pubs in Bakewell. Details of pubs and times will be listed here nearer the day.

Some members may however wish to visit other attractions because Bakewell has so much to offer. Maybe take a walk by the river, a visit to the museum, or a walk to the impressive church. You may also wish to visit one of the many tea rooms or maybe the original Bakewell Pudding Shop.

From the time of day, you will know from the pub list where the group will be based and this will enable you to dip in and out should you so wish.

We are planning to catch the 10.40 bus (218) from Platform D3 at Sheffield interchange. Some members may wish to join us in Bakewell if its more convenient for them. The first pub base will be published in the comments in due course.

Buses are scheduled to run roughly half hourly through the day (218 and 257). Bus 218 is the quicker of the two.
