Flat 3 mile walk in Derbyshire

We will be travelling on the 11.14 train from Sheffield to Bamford. (About £5.00 return) the train stops at Dore if that is easier. Alternatively you can use the Castleton bus which stops just outside the station.
The walk takes us over the main road and the river. We will walk back to Hathersage on the river side path to Lead mill bridge and then into the town. It is a flat and easy walk which is very scenic.
probably 3 1/2 miles. I suggest you bring some coffee for the walk.
We will finish the day visiting some hospitality outlets in Hathersage.
the train back departs at 45 minutes past each hour. However it may be easier to use te bus.
