Mountain Scrambling Weekend in Great Langdale, Lake District

With so many spectacular mountains and crags packed into such a small area in the heart of the Lake District, Great Langdale is a mountaineering paradise. The focus of the trip will be on quality scrambles of all grades. We will be looking at routes on Pike Of Stickle, Harrison Stickle, Tarn Crag, Pavey Ark, Raven Crag and Thorn Crag, Pike Of Blisco and Bow Fell among others.

Difficulty: Mostly Grade 1 and 2 scrambling, possibly some Grade 3. For more information on scrambling grades see:

Experience Required: Some previous climbing or scrambling experience is essential. If you want to participate but lack the required experience just come to a couple of our other outdoor climbing/scrambling events first. It is assumed everybody attending will be comfortable on Grade 1 mountain scrambles.
