Climbing at Harboro Rocks

Details
MEET AT:- Brassington, Matlock, rough postcode DE4 4HF. There is not a huge amount of parking here, but it is free. NOTE, the location to the right, doesn't want to know, but this shouldn't be a problem, the location info is above here.
ABOUT HARBORO ROCKS
Standing on top of an industrial equipment supplier, and therefore overlooking it (literally), and the pleasant Brassington views, this crag is an astonishing looking place, it's literally, scientifically a mini Dolomites, as you can see from the images. Personal experience of this place are its pleasant, calm surroundings and physical rock formation, even though we all have our preferred physical rock formation. Harboro also, like Windgather for example, has a nice mixture of climbing grades and scrambling. There's a nice surprise Harboro has, which may be obvious to you by the images, so if the weather is a bit sizzling, you can take shade and explore this surprise a bit.
BECAUSE WE NEED TO TRY AND SAVE OUR BEAUTIFUL PLANET
As an environmentally conscious group, we actively encourage car sharing. You can requests lifts from others from Sheffield, Manchester and other surroundings areas, nearer the time.
THE EVENT'S PLAN
The full day will include us making our way, (just like from Windgather's road side parking), right along the main road, being extra careful of traffic, for about 50metres from this carpark, turning right along an INCREDIBLY long path!, directly along the side of the industrial equipment supplier firm. Through the gate, we may start at the left hand side, where the surprise is. Following this, we'll steadily make our way along the crag. We'll make our way back along the same path when finished, again, being careful of the main road.
WHAT EQUIPMENT TO BRING THEREFORE IMPORTANT
You will need and therefore must bring a HELMET, which is of first importance and an obvious piece of equipment. Seen some people, not this group but strangers, at a crag whether they're climbing or belaying, mainly belaying, not wearing one. This is a massive (excuse the terminology) schoolboy error and is annoying. At any time around a climbing crag, a helmet must always be worn in case of a slip or a boulder from the top of a climb could come crashing down, you just never know. CLIMBING SHOES and a BELAY DEVICE, also known as a belay plate for belaying the climber and a HARNESS. These four bits of equipment are the essentials.
If you have a rope and gear (also known as safety), great, please bring these along also, as we'll most likely need a few ropes anyway. A 40m max rope will do, bring half ropes as well, just in case they're needed, as apposed to a single one, which we'll be bringing, because they are of use on their own. As stated, if you have any safety gear, please bring this, as the more we have the better, to use amongst us all, not to mention slings etc, especially in different sizes and more bits help.
OTHER NOTICE
This time, if you can contribute £2, so we can pass it onto Gerry. This is always very much appreciated. Many thanks.
