Climbing & Beginners Bouldering @ Birchen Edge
Details
Plenty of good climbing for ropers and non-ropers alike. It's a good place to give bouldering a go as there are many lower grades. My dad likes it here as well....
Fee: £2 (either send it direct to Gerry or give to me pass on).
NOTE: For trad climbing you'll need to be able to tie a figure of eight and lead belay. For the bouldering no previous stuff necessary.
Meet at: Gardoms parking HERE, at the roadside near the crossroads on the A621 and Clodhall Lane
Parking: as above
What to bring:
Trad. - climbing shoes, harness, belay plate, helmet, nut key. Bring any trad gear you've got (rope & all that expensive stuff)
Bouldering - Climbing shoes & chalk (please don't graffiti the rocks with it!). Bouldering mat if you have one.
