Details

Tucked away in the Winnats Pass, Matterhorn Ridge and Elbow Ridge are hidden gems of Peak District scrambling and climbing. These spectacular razor sharp ridges provide the most dramatic mountaineering experience the area has to offer. With a level of exposure not normally seen in this part of the world, the outing gives a genuine big mountain feel which is further enhanced by the surrounding breathtaking scenery.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This outing can very feasibly be done unroped by experienced and competent scramblers with a head for heights. THE PLAN IS TO DO THIS OUTING WITHOUT ROPES.

Experience Required: Previous Grade 3 scrambling and/or rock climbing experience with our group is essential

What to bring: climbing helmet as there is the potential for loose rock

Meet at: Speedwell Cavern Car Park, Winnats Pass, Castleton, S33 8WA

Fee: £2 (either send it direct to Gerry or give to me pass on).
