Elsecar to Sheffield - LINEAR - 14 miles Moderate

Details
This is a nice walk with a different feel to the usual Peak District walks. Not hill after hill :( The route is through fields, country tracks, woodland and slowly becoming more urbanised into Sheffield where we finish.
We start by leaving Elsecar village onto Hoyland common passing through fields to Wentworth Village which has a nice church. Descending a little to Wentworth Woodhouse an old manor house which is a highlight of the walk. We descend gradually on a nice track to Morley pond. After we ascend gradually to Scholes village and onto Grange Moor Golf course which should have views onto the M1 and surrounding area. Next we head down to Meadowhall. Finally a casual path back to Sheffield via the 5 wiers walk
