Sheffield Social Stuff is the brand-new sister community to the long-running Manchester Social Stuff. (https://www.meetup.com/manchester-social-stuff/) Built on the same ethos of openness and friendship, it’s a welcoming hub for anyone in or around Sheffield—whatever your age, stage, background or interests—who wants to expand their social circle.
Our calendar is as varied as the people who shape it: coffee catch-ups for newcomers, toddler-friendly park picnics, board-game evenings, accessible walks in the Peaks, coding jams, vinyl-listening sessions, late-night gig meet-ups and more. Every listing is designed to make introductions feel natural and fun.
Most importantly, your ideas drive what happens next. Members of every generation propose events, co-host activities, vote on new suggestions and volunteer together, so the schedule evolves with the community’s voice—not just the organisers’. Whether you’re 18 or 80, bringing fresh suggestions or simply looking for friendly faces, Sheffield Social Stuff offers an easy, inclusive way to explore the city and build genuine connections.
