VisionDrum, launched in January 2018, is a local women's circle in the eastern panhandle of West Virginia.
The circle teaches the ancient frame drum, following the teaching of Layne Redmond, master drummer and author of When The Drummers Were Women. We welcome women of all ages and experiences to explore sound, rhythm, voice, movement, story, and spirit within a supportive community.
No musical training is expected or required, and instruments are available. Rhythm, voice, breath, movement - these are your birthrights! Come and claim them . . .
