This event will feature guest speaker Natalie Sutherland, a leading family law specialist solicitor and Partner at The International Family Law Group. Natalie advises on modern family law, including surrogacy, fertility law, LGBTQ+ parenting, donor conception, and complex parenthood arrangements such as platonic co-parenting and known donor arrangements. Her work often sits at the intersection of family formation, uncertainty, and legal risk, providing clients with clear, realistic, and robust legal guidance focused on the welfare of the child.
She is highly recognised in her field, ranked in Band 1 in Children Law and Band 3 in International Abduction, Adoption and Surrogacy by Chambers & Partners, and is also listed as a Next Generation Partner in Legal 500. She is a Board Trustee of the Progress Educational Trust and co-founder of the In/Fertility in the City podcast, which explores the relationship between fertility challenges and professional life. She was also named Woman of the Year at the Women & Diversity in Law Awards 2023.
