About us

Are you a fan of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's book series Sherlock Holmes? If so, you may wish to consider joining this meetup group, which will begin in earnest in 2027.

Each month I will host a reading group to cover a different Sherlock Holmes mystery (we will cover them in chronological order). And for some events we have social events to watch a Sherlock Holmes film or TV series together. I consider the Granada Television series (1984-1994) to be the ultimate televised series of Holmes and Watson (and I have the full box set of it). But I also enjoy more contemporary depictions as well, like Sherlock and Elementary.

This Sherlock Holmes meetup group is for folks local to Kingston -you must live in, or very close to Ktown to join- who enjoy reading fiction about mysteries and the detective's virtues, and who would conversing about these topics with others.

Hope you will consider joining us. Events for the New Year will be posted in a few weeks. The game is afoot!

Cheers,
Colin F.

PS- to be added to the group you must have Kingston as your location (or nearby location) and a clear picture with your face.
