Hello, sheSINK members!

THIS MONTH WE’RE KICKING OFF A FINANCIAL WELLNESS BOOK CLUB. Our first read is "Financial Feminist" by Tori Dunlap. If you’ve ever wanted to talk about money without the shame or the jargon, then this one is for you! Tori breaks down saving, investing, debt, knowing your worth, and systemic barriers women face along the way. You’ll come away with practical advice and tips to get you on your own road to financial well-being.

I'm Anna and I am going to be your host for this book club. A little about me: I am a person who has always been passionate about money and finances. I am interested in different ways of moving through the world to support the solvency of my present and future self. I love to talk all things money and the topic has never scared me. I’ve been pursuing my own financial independence in an active way for the last 15 years since I graduated from university.

Here’s how it works: you’ll take the first month to read the entire book, and then we will meet up for an in person discussion within the first two weeks of the following month. This will be a monthly meet up, separate from the existing Well-Read Women Book Club. You can join either one or both.

"Financial Feminist" by Tori Dunlap is available from the GRPL and Kent District library systems. You can also find it in most books stores.

I look forward to reading and discussing this book with you. As the event gets closer, I will share the location address.
