About us

A space for people curious about shibari as an artistic and expressive practice.

We’ll meet in Retiro Park to explore rope, composition, body, movement and human connection through relaxed sketching sessions and conversation.

This group is for artists, photographers, rope enthusiasts and anyone interested in observing people as living sculptures. No experience with drawing or shibari is required—curiosity is enough.

Events may include:

live sketching from rope poses
discussions about aesthetics and composition
photography (with participants’ consent)
conversations about emotion, trust and non-verbal expression

This is an art-focused community. All rope activities are consensual, respectful and non-sexual in nature.
Everyone is welcome.

Participation fee: €10, payable on-site. This contribution helps organize the event and supports future art sessions.

Shibari Sketch Session in Retiro Park

Join us for an outdoor sketching session where art meets shibari.

We’ll spend a few hours in Retiro Park drawing from live rope poses, exploring the human body through line, movement, composition and emotion. This is a relaxed, welcoming space for artists, photographers, rope enthusiasts and anyone curious about artistic expression.

No drawing experience is required. Whether you sketch every day or have never opened a sketchbook before, you’re welcome.

What to expect:

Live sketching from shibari-inspired poses
A friendly and respectful atmosphere
Conversations about art, composition and human expression
An opportunity to meet creative people in Madrid

Please bring:

A sketchbook or drawing paper
Pencils or your preferred drawing materials
Water and something comfortable to sit on

Sesión de Dibujo con Shibari en el Parque del Retiro

Únete a una sesión de dibujo al aire libre donde el arte se encuentra con el shibari.

Pasaremos unas horas en el Parque del Retiro dibujando a partir de poses con cuerdas, explorando el cuerpo humano a través de la línea, el movimiento, la composición y la emoción. Será un espacio tranquilo y acogedor para artistas, fotógrafos, personas interesadas en el shibari y cualquier persona con curiosidad por la expresión artística.

No es necesario tener experiencia dibujando. Tanto si dibujas habitualmente como si nunca has abierto un cuaderno de dibujo, eres bienvenido.

Qué puedes esperar:

Dibujo del natural a partir de poses inspiradas en el shibari
Un ambiente amable y respetuoso
Conversaciones sobre arte, composición y expresión humana

Qué traer:

Un cuaderno de dibujo o papel
