1️⃣ Please arrive before 19:00

Please try your best to arrive before 19:00. After that, please ring the intercom and say "Shinagawa Badminton desu" to be let in.

For any late arrivals after 19:10, PLEASE DO NOT RING THE INTERCOM.The school manager will not open the door even if you ring the bell/intercom. Please ping the group and we will come down to pick you up.

Once the matches start, it will also be difficult for the organizers to keep leaving the gym to pick up late arrivals. If you expect to be late, please let us know as early as possible.

2️⃣ Please help as referee & line judge 📱

After finishing your match, please stay around the court and help with refereeing and line judging for the following matches.

We will use an app to record and update the scores live, so please make sure your phone is fully charged before coming.

The match sequence will be played from left to right on the schedule.

This session is designed for players who want to practice under tournament conditions, improve their decision-making under pressure, and challenge themselves against a variety of opponents.

🏸 Level Requirement
This event is intended for Intermediate players and Above, approximately Japanese Level 3部 or higher.

Participants should be able to:

• Consistently use the six basic shots: clear, drive, smash, drop, hairpin (net shot), and push.
• Understand doubles rotation, positioning, and the basic rules of badminton.
• Maintain rallies and play safely at an intermediate pace without other players needing to significantly slow down.

📋 Tournament Format

• 20 players (10 fixed pairs)
• 2 groups + knockout stage
• Group Stage → Top 2 pairs from each group advance → Semifinals → Final
• Group Stage & Semifinals: 1 game to 15 points (no deuce)
• Final: 1 game to 21 points (no deuce)

🐱Gender-Mixed Format
This is a GENDER MIXED session. Mixed pairs may play against same-gender pairs throughout the tournament.

The purpose of this event is to simulate tournament conditions, adapt to different matchups, overcome challenges, and gain valuable match experience—all while having fun in a friendly and respectful environment.

• Men: ¥1,000
• Women: ¥800

Please bring your own racket. Racket rental is not available

⏰ Arrival Time
Please arrive on time. The latest arrival time is 19:10. Late arrivals will consider your pair loses one game or the whole tournament if no-show happens.
