Seymour Trail First Peak, optional second peak

One of the better trails in Vancouver with a great view at the end. We will only be traveling to the First Peak. Second peak is optional if enough people would like to continue.

We will be meeting in the parking lot. I'll be wearing a blue shirt and black sweatpants with white stripes

Length: 9km round way
Elevation gain: 555 m
Average Time: On average it takes up to 2.5 hours to reach the first peak and 2 hours hiking back.

If we face any unpredicted weather conditions, we will postpone the hike.
Please be respectful to other hikers. Let people pass if they are faster.

Plenty of water
Breathable hiking clothes suitable for hot weather
Hiking boots required: Rocky terrain near peak watch out for Ankle Sprain and possible fall with improper footwear !
Sunscreen

BUG repellent ! Its end of summer, bug is at its peak BRING IT.

Attendance
Please finalize your attendance 48 hours before the hike. If you do not plan on attending, please withdraw your RSVP so we know exactly how many hikers there’ll be. If you need a ride, please contact other attendees 48 hours beforehand.
SAFETY
Your face should be visible in your profile in case of an emergency.
Please make a family member or close friend aware of your hiking plan and your location before the hike.
If you need medicine or you have a medical condition, please be prepared before the hike and talk with the organizer about it!
We try to have a suitable pace for everyone and will care for each other on the hike.
At the same time, everyone on this hike is fully responsible for their safety and the organizer doesn't have any responsibility for any incident.

You also verify that you are in good health and are physically capable of carrying out this hike.
Therefore, you agree to release the Meetup Group, the Organizer, the Meetup Host, and any affiliate from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense, or injury arising from participation in the Meetup event, including during transportation to and from the event.
