Hi, I'm Enii! I've called Toronto home for over a decade, and I started Ships because I kept noticing something: people here aren't lonely for lack of people. They're lonely for lack of the same people, showing up again and again.
Ships is a community built around consistency. Real events, real faces, the same crew; so that "we should hang out" actually turns into something.
We've started with bi-weekly Sunday walks (even in the rain). It's low-pressure, easy to show up, and the kind of thing where you arrive not knowing anyone and leave with a smashburger recommendation and agreement to catch up in 2 weeks.
This is for you if you have people around but want people to call on that you can explore the city with, build memories with, and actually keep in touch with.
Come once. Come back. That's the whole idea.
