Shoot Vienna: First District

I'm hosting a street photography workshop taking in some of Vienna's most popular spots at this time of year.

The workshop features an introductory presentation on street photography of approx. 20mins, along with tips along the way from a photographer featured by The Guardian, BBC and Time Out.

We'll start at Karlsplatz to capture the Christmas market, then work our way to the First District, where we'll meander the streets via Schwedenplatz and eventually ending in Stephansplatz. Attendees can then decide whether to buy a festive Glühwein at the Christmas market there and have a post-workshop chat.

As this takes place while it starts to get dark, please be prepared to photograph in this way.

All are welcome - whether you're a tourist or a local.

All events take place in English.

To bring with you on the day:

• Mobile phone (to contact me if you get lost!)
• Warm clothing and comfortable shoes
• 50 cent coins may be required for use of toilets
• Any kind of camera as long as you know how to use it (it’s not a workshop on how to use a camera): digital, analogue, mobile phone
