We're supposed to get alterations to guarantee a great fit but the process can be a mystery! Join our exclusive workshop with expert seamstress Julia Studer of Silhouette Studios, and we'll learn all about it:

• What's an easy fix and what's going to cost an arm and a leg?

• How do I measure myself for clothing charts? And much more!

Julia Studer is our perfect guide and hostess, too! Only reaching a grand height of 5’ tall, Julia Studer knew the skill of sewing would be very helpful throughout her life (if she wanted to wear adult clothing!). During an internship in her Apparel Design program at Oregon State University she learned the art of tailoring and making custom fit dresses. She fell in love with the transformation and confidence that happens when you put on a garment that fits perfectly. In 2012 Studer opened Silhouette, a women’s tailoring boutique and design studio, and has been helping to make clothes fit for her Portland community ever since.
