This will be a guided tour (with much commentary) of the Wall Street and Civic Center areas of lower Manhattan. Primary focus is the history and architecture of this, the oldest section of New York City. We will also discuss the "movers and shakers" of Wall Street and their impact on New York and the world.

Will be walking at a moderate (not slow) pace and there will be several restrooms stops along the way. The walk will last about 3 1/2 hours and will cover about 4 miles. The hike will end at Columbus Park (Chinatown) where there will be many dining options for those who are interested.
Owning to the Group Guided Tour nature of this event, it will be restricted to 25 attendees. I have led this tour countless times in the past and will repeat it countless times, so if you are not on the "Going List" there will be hope for a spot in the future.

The nearest subway station at the end point will be the Canal Street Station.

Heavy rain/snow or other forms of extreme weather will cancel the walk. Please check this site for updates.

There is no need to clutter up the comment section below with personal reflections and viewpoints or predictions of the weather conditions that you "foresee" on the day of the event. I will delete all unnecessary comments.

I will use a voice amplification device to foster better understanding and clarity between myself and attendees.
