5B5B - Five Boro Five Brewery Walk

STILL PLENTY OF ROOM FOR MEMBERS WHO FOLLOW THE MODIFIED RSVP PROCESS; ONLY CASUAL CLICKERS STAY ON THE WAITLIST
Due to popular demand, yours truly will host the third annual epic Five Boro Five Brewery (5B5B) walk, which will be covered in just about 14 miles (not counting the ferry ride).

WALK DETAILS:
We will start at the Bronx Brewery at 12:30 leaving at 1:00 (we will allow 30 minutes at each brewery stop). We will walk about 5.5 miles via Randalls Island to our second stop in Queens, 3 miles from there to Brooklyn, 3 more miles to Manhattan, and 2 miles to the SI Ferry, where we will take a sunset cruise to our final brewery stop which is short walk from the ferry.
There will be food available at the breweries but you should order right away (and/or arrive early at the Bronx Brewery) so as not to hold up the group as we have a fairly tight schedule to maintain. You are also welcome to bring your own food which will save time and money. We will move at a moderate to brisk pace between breweries so keep that in mind before you sign up for this walk. There is no requirement to drink at each stop (smaller sizes are available) but this is also a judgement free walk (just like Vegas, what happens on 5B5B.....). We are looking for only highly motivated members not casual clickers so pay attention to RSVP details below.

HOW TO GET TO STARTING POINT:
Take the #6 Subway to the Cypress Avenue stop and walk a few blocks to the front entrance to Bronx Brewery at 856 E. 136th Street.

BRING: Hat, sunscreen, water, snacks, comfortable walking footwear, and extra pair socks (to avoid blisters if you are doing the whole 14 miles).

MODIFIED RSVP PROCESS: Due to capacity constraints, I will require everyone including the president (I mean He Who Must Not Be Named, not Pam) who wants to join us to text me (908-672-9250) AFTER you RSVP to put yourself on the Waitlist AND indicate if you are planning to go the whole 14 miles, drop out, or join us at a later stage. If you aren't going the whole way, please indicate which Boro/stop you will plan to drop out or join the group. Preference will be given to regulars on previous hikes and/or members who send a compelling request. Just to be clear, NO TEXT, NO GO. I will stop taking RSVPs once we reach the limit (roughly 20 at any point in the walk).
