You’ll have the rare chance to stay in the museum from midnight until dawn! The new Princeton University Art Museum opens this Friday, October 31, at 5 PM, and will remain open 24 hours straight — from Friday evening until Saturday at 5 PM. Admission is free.

Word is, the building was designed for wandering and getting delightfully lost, with art waiting to surprise you around every corner. You can even stay through the night — explore the galleries under soft light, join midnight activities, and watch the sunrise over the campus before the museum closes.

There will be many special opening events — drop-in art-making, live performances, and guided tours — and you can register online if you’d like to join. The museum is less than a 10-minute walk from the Princeton train station, with trains running late into the night.
