I want to confirm the walk only if the weather looks good. Please do not purchase your bus return ticket before you are on the “going” list. On 11/14, once you are on the “going” list, please purchase your OurBUS ticket within 24 hours and share proof of purchase with me. If I don’t receive confirmation of your ticket purchase by noon on 11/15, I will remove you from the “going” list.
Start: Princeton Junction Train Station
Finish: BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham (Akshardham Temple Robbinsville, NJ)
Distance: 10-11 miles. No drop out point
Travel Info: Take NJ Transit train to the start and OurBus back to NYC at the finish
Walk:
This fascinating 11-mile walk will take you past the home of Nobel laureate John Nash, whose work revolutionized mathematics and economics, and a serene park featuring a Chinese pavilion gifted by Sichuan, China, in his honor. You'll visit the legendary Grover’s Mill, the site where the infamous War of the Worlds broadcast sparked nationwide panic in 1938, walk along the remnants of the historic Fast Trolley Line, and conclude the journey at the breathtaking BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham, a stunning masterpiece of traditional Hindu craftsmanship and spirituality.
We will pass by a supermarket where we’ll have a brief break. Please note that BAPS Swaminarayan Akshardham also has a restaurant on-site, but bringing outside food into the temple premises is strictly prohibited.

I’ll guide the group to the welcome center around 4:30pm, give instructions for the 7:00 PM pickup, and then leave. Feel free to explore or join the guided tour on your own. 😊.
