Starting at the Grand Army Plaza Brooklyn library where we can use the restrooms, we'll walk 5 flat miles through Prospect Heights, Fort Green, Clinton Hill, Williamsburg and Greenpoint to reach the Greenpoint Public Library, a state of the art new building focusing on environmental education. We'll pass through the Pratt Institute, The Naval Cemetery Landscape, a native plant meadow & pollinator habitat on the site of a former Naval Hospital, and follow the waterfront of Williamsburg and Greenpoint.
Once finished people may decide to lunch at numerous, interesting restaurants on Greenpoint Avenue or bring lunch to a nearby park. If you wish you may join me at Karczma a Polish restaurant. https://karczmabrooklyn.com/en/menu-2/
Several nearby subways include the G and L trains. One may also walk over the Williamsburg Bridge into Manhattan.
