Brooklyn Academy of Music and Prospect Park Walking Tour

Please do not RSVP for this walk unless you truly plan to attend. Please alter your RSVP as soon as you know your plans have changed. This is especially important to allow those on the waiting list to attend. Please read this description 3 or 4 times before asking questions. There is a $10 donation for each attendee.

Meeting in the Opera House lobby at 10am, Mr. Louie Fleck, Senior Archives Manager of the Brooklyn Academy of Music, will lead us on a 60-90 minute history tour, covering 2 of its 4 buildings. Following the tour we'll wak to the Grand Army Plaza Central Library for a lunch and restroom stop. We'll continue to Prospect Park for a tour of park highlights.

Since the BAM portion of the walk will be indoors, and we can modify the rest of the day to accommodate rain or snow, this walk will go forward regardless of weather.

Please understand that I stop frequently to allow the group to coalesce. This walk may not be for you if you wish to walk at a faster, uninterrupted pace. Since attendance is limited to 25, only Shorewalkers members are permitted.
