Historical Elizabeth and Goethals Bridge

Distance: 10-11 miles. no easy drop out point
Speed: 2.5- 3.0 mph, to some people maybe a brisk / athletic walk.
PLEASE do consider your own capability to determine if this hike really suit you.

Walk:
Meet at Elizabeth, NJ — oldest English settlement in the State and still developing! Then following Elizabeth River Parkway on to the Goethals Bridge. We will ascend the Goethals Bridge to admire the Arthur Kill before returning to Elizabeth, skipping the entry to Staten Island. The route continues to explore the Elizabeth waterfront, the historic Singer Manufacturing Plant, The Mills at Jersey Gardens, and then returns to Elizabeth train station or Manhattan.

** NJ Transit Bus #24 back to Elizabeth train station
** may walk 3 more miles back to Elizabeth train station
