Walk the iconic 32-mile Great Saunter path in invigorating 8-mile segments. Quarter Saunter #4 extends from Carl Schurz Park to the finish at Fraunces Tavern. Find a digital map of the route at Great Saunter - Shorewalkers.
MEET: 9:15 a.m. Thursday, April 23 at Carl Schurz Park on the East River Esplanade (84th street) for a prompt 9:30 a.m. departure. Take the Q Subway to 86th street and walk over to East River - OR take the East 90th Street Ferry.
Route: We'll walk south along the East River, with a stop midway for lunch and restrooms, finishing at Fraunces Tavern, where the Great Saunter starts and ends on May 2.
Post-walk: We invite everyone to JOIN us as we raise a glass to celebrate completing 32 miles!
Bring: water, lunch, sunscreen, and hat.
