It’s a Crime! A Women’s History Month Walk (~5 miles)

Perpetrator, pirate, prosecutor, prey. We’ll follow the leads of true-crime stories on this women’s history walk from Houston Street to the Hudson.
Start: Arrive 10:15am. Walk starts at 10:30am.
Start location: This walk is limited to Shorewalkers members on the Going List only. Meet at East Houston Street (south side) between Chrystie & Forsyth. Look for the Walk Leader by the steps just inside the park. Nearest subway stations: F at 2nd Ave; B/D/F/M at Broadway/Lafayette; 4,6 at Bleecker. (Restroom at Whole Foods, 2nd floor, entrance on E. Houston near Chrystie. Please visit restroom before walk.)
Distance: about 5 miles
Pace: Moderate. (Not fast, not slow.) We will pause along the way to talk about women's history.
Terrain: City sidewalks. Mostly flat, some stairs.
End time (approx): about 3:00’ish. We may end a bit earlier or later.
End location: Warren Street & Hudson River. Nearest subway stations: 1,2,3 at W. Broadway & Chambers; A/C at Church St. & Warren; R/W at Broadway & Warren.
Lunch/Snacks: 10-minute break during second half of walk. Please bring food/beverage as we will not stop to make purchases.
Restrooms: Before the walk (Whole Foods 2nd floor), at the 2-mile
mark, and at the end of walk.
