From Radburn Superblocks to Hawthorne Trails
Details
Distance: 10 miles (no early exit points)
Pace: Steady (approx. 2.5–3 mph) — not suitable for slow walkers
A 10-mile exploration through the infrastructure of Fair Lawn, Hawthorne, and Glen Rock. We’ll navigate the Radburn footpath system and walk a substantial section of the abandoned North Jersey Rapid Transit (NJRT) trolley line (1909–1929). The route also includes Goffle Brook Park, designed by the Olmsted firm, and the Thielke Arboretum.
