Date Change - Cherry Blossom Quest: From Nutley Greenways to West Hudson
Details
Distance: 11-12 miles (no early exit points)
Pace: Steady (approx. 2.5–3 mph) — not suitable for slow walkers
Walk:
Join us for a 12-mile journey through a continuous corridor of riverside greenways. We’ll start in the serene, tree-lined parks of Nutley, following the winding Third River south. We’ll pass through the Belleville Park (North of Branch Brook Park), where we hope to catch the spectacular cherry blossoms as they begin their peak bloom.
After soaking in the seasonal atmosphere, we’ll cross the Passaic River into Kearny to explore the rolling hills and lake views of West Hudson Park. This is a perfect hike for those who love a mix of waterfront vistas and the fresh energy of early spring.
