Join us for a 13-mile walk that blends the quieter, wilder edges of Randall’s Island with the iconic landscapes of Central Park—two very different NYC nature experiences in one day.

📍 Start Point
Carl Schurz Park
• Meeting place – in front of Carl Schurz Public Restrooms by (East End Ave. and E 84th Street)
• Meet at 9:30 AM | Depart promptly at 9:45 AM

🚶‍♂️ Route Overview
We’ll begin at Carl Schurz Park and head north to the Ward’s Island Bridge, crossing into Randall’s/Wards Island. From there, we’ll loop through scenic trails and waterfront paths, including:
• Little Hell Gate Salt Marsh
• Bronx Kill waterfront
After completing the island loop, we’ll return to Manhattan via the Ward’s Island Bridge and continue into Central Park.
🥪 Lunch Stop
We’ll pause for lunch at the Conservatory Garden before continuing our exploration of the northern section of Central Park.
