Duke Farms and Raritan River

Join us for this 10-11 mile spring loop walk featuring with one of the largest privately-owned parcels of open land in New Jersey, which is rich in ecological, agricultural and horticultural resources.

Distance: 10-11 miles on flat trails and roads, moderate pace walk. No drop out point
Meet: Raritan train station
End: Somerville Train Station

A reminder:

• The train taking you to Raritan station ONLY starts from “Newark” Penn station.
• Both NYC and Newark stations have the same name as “Penn Station”, so be careful not to confuse them.
• The 9:34am train from NYC is not the only option to get to Newark. Please use the transportation method you are familiar with to reach Newark. Arrive in Newark early and allow yourself ample time to locate the train platform if you are unfamiliar with Newark station. Remember, you must catch the 10:02 am train from Newark to Raritan. If you miss the train, you will miss the walk.
