Palisades & Pancakes 🥞
Details
Who wants to join us in taking in endless spectacular views, while enjoying a good hike, ending it with some FAN FREAKIN TASTIC pancakes?! 🥞 🥰
Meeting Point:
We will meet on the 3rd Floor of the GW Bridge Port Authority Bus Station waiting area at 9:45AM—we take off at 10:00AM.
Details:
We will cross over the GW Bridge. Head into the Palisades Interstate Park and crossing into Burdetts Landing, that will take us onto the Shore Trail. We will take this up to the Englewood Boat Basin area and we will head back towards the Ross Dock Picnic area, climb up the Carpenter’s trail, which boasts elevation gain: hikers’ GPS recordings show roughly 380–390 feet of cumulative climbing, which aligns closely with the official 320-foot cliff ascent/descent. This will take us onto the Long Path looping U.S. back over to the NJ side of the GW Bridge.
POINT TO POINT THIS WALK IS ABOUT 15 MILES.
🗳️ We’ll take a poll and see who wishes to join us for pancakes and who doesn’t and go from there.
Pancake 🥞 Details 🥰
